Meet the coven in this new trailer for The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood
If you missed it, Matt previewed The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood; a game about tarot reading and an exiled witch. It features Tarot-like card creation, divination, and a branching story than spans time and space. It also has a diverse cast of characters, who are introduced in this new trailer.
Players take on the role of Fortuna, an exiled Witch who lives on an asteroid. She forms a pact with a forbidden creature to regain her freedom. After 200 years, she’ll reconnect with her Witch friends and make new ones, all while using the created cards to see through their pasts and futures. The web of interests that surround the coven lead to a political plot that will define the fate of the Cosmic Witch society.
Developed by Deconstructeam and published by Devolver Digital, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood will be released for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch later this year.
Crime O’Clock launches for Switch this week
Crime O’Clock is one of those games that leaves me in awe of the illustrations it contains. Across five maps, the worlds are expansive and detailed. In the game, players get personal with the lives of many characters across the maps. They’ll follow the inhabitants over 10 time ticks and discover their stories. Investigate cases through time and evolving maps, unveiling a multi-era linked story. It’s kind of like Where’s Waldo plus a point and click adventure. And the good news? Crime O’Clock will be launching for Nintendo Switch late this week.
Players become a time detective, travelling through time and solving crimes that shouldn’t have happened to begin with. Each of the five maps have multiple time markers to visit and use to help resolve cases like hacking, murder, and theft. Oddly enough, there seems to be a strange thread connecting them all… someone if trying to disturb time! Players search the huge, zoomable maps for clues then proceed with a detective method to combine the missing pieces. As cases are solved, the map changes and new adventures await.
Developed by Bad Seed and published by Just For Games, Crime O’Clock will be released for Nintendo Switch on June 30. The PC/Mac (via Steam) versions ill be released on July 21.
